David Mizon - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

House of Building is David’s brainchild and the logical next stage for the original family business, J Mizon & Sons, established in 1961 by his grandfather, Joseph Mizon. Whilst heading up the operation, David retains the role of chief estimator to ensure a firm hold on all aspects of the business. David (second from left above) has lived in the local area all his life and is father of two boys, Rudy and Jacob.  

Kelly Lowing - Operations Manager

Kelly has been with the company for five years and coordinates all office logicstical, financial and human resource operations. She has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Media Studies from Sussex University and provides House of Building with the communication and technology skills required to bring it to its present level of prominence in the market. Kelly has been an indispensable key player in the development of the company and is the glue that sticks all of its parts together. 

Justin Jones - Director

Justin (left above) is the Managing Director of House of Building in Reigate. He is the logistical coordinator of all major building work projects and is on site for the majority of his time. Justin, like all of the House of Building management team, is a personal long time friend of David and has worked closely with him to bring this leading building company to its focal High Street location. 

Tom Hodges - Maintenance Director

Tom (second from right above) heads up our fast growing Maintenance division. He handles both the domestic client base but also manages our key commercial lettings accounts such as Leaders Letting Agents, Gatwick Properties and Rayners Commercial. His highly honed communication and coordination skills enable him to head up an experienced team of maintenance specialists working on jobs in Reigate and beyond.

Guy Hawkesworth - Landscape Director

Guy (middle above) works largely on the external work operations of House of Building. He oversees the Reigate operations and further afield in Surrey and South London. He has worked with David for more than five years and is the longest serving employee of the company. He has an impressive landscape portfolio behind him, including Portland Drive, a communal garden and conservatory for the Raven Housing Association opened by Crispin Blunt MP last year.

Ben Savage - Project Manager and Estimator

Ben started his career in the city as a runner for Lloyds and later trained for three years to be a broker. In 2001, he left to explore the property market and has a portfolio of houses for which he has sourced the land and built from scratch. He is a new addition to our team and provides broad and valuable building experience to the company as well as being extremely good with figures!

Kate McCarthy - Office Administrator

Kate (right above) has a previous background of working in insurance and administration. Her strongest asset is being well organized, thorough and super-efficient, which makes the day to day running of the office run smoothly. She is currently studying for a diploma in Business Administration and hopes to bring her skills to the company which will only improve the quality of service. She has worked in the show room for 1½years and has great knowledge of products and services available, as well as dealing with customer queries and questions both in the showroom and on the telephone.

Robert Jones - Assistant Project Manager

Rob holds a Professional Certificate in Management and comes from a background in Quality Management. He has experience in computer systems and will look to help House of Building improve internally with the ever growing demand.
